Meet Emi

hello friend

My name is Emi Namoro.

I am a Catholic writer, artist and communications professional based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I am a cradle Catholic but didn’t fully take the faith as my own until grade 7. God captured my heart by instilling in me a love of learning, ministry, and service.

I learned that I could serve God by offering Him what He gave me: my voice.

As I grew up, my voice evolved along with me. From leading and singing in worship bands, teaching children about Christ, to writing about God’s unconditional love. I pray that by living out my true identity as a daughter of God, it may ignite a fire within others to be a witness in their own lives, too!

“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.” - St. Augustine

Restless Nightwriter is a series of public musings from a pilgrim journeying Home. It’s an evolving collection of reflections, poems, and personal testimonies.

I invite you to explore and journey alongside me, friend.

Together, let’s discover what it means to be human—to struggle, to experience joy, and ultimately, to find our way Home to our Beloved Father, who awaits us with open arms.

"Artists of the world, may your many different paths all lead to that infinite Ocean of beauty where wonder becomes awe, exhilaration, unspeakable joy. May you be guided and inspired by the mystery of the Risen Christ, whom the Church in these days contemplates with joy."

Pope St. John Paul II, Letter to Artists (1999)
